Q:
Who will be shooting my wedding or event?
A: Darren Cassese is the primary photographer for D&J Photography. We also employ talented photographers to shoot with us when needed. All two-photographer weddings will be shot by Darren and one of our talented associates.
Q: How many hours are included for a wedding package?
A: We do not impose time limits on weddings. This means we are there from start to finish. Other photo sessions range in time from one to two hours, however we don't charge when sessions go over. We arrive prior to the ceremony before the bride and groom get there, and we depart after the bride and groom leave the reception.
Q: How many photos do you take?
A: TONS! We bring a ton of memory so we can click away all day long. Our goal is to not miss a thing. A typical wedding results in several hundred photos. Darren usually shoots with a main camera, another slung over his shoulder and a bag full of backup equipment. In the rare event that we experience equipment failure, we want to be sure we have you covered!
Q:
Do you travel?
A: We love to travel but we do ask you to cover our gas and hotel expenses. For early weddings, a two night stay may be required, depending on the distance from Charlotte.
Q:
Do you take black and whites?
A: Yes. Because we are digital, we can shoot any picture in any style you want, from black and white, to sepia, to unique color and lighting conditions. Your pictures can be edited to fit your style and preferences.
Q:
Do I get to keep my negatives?
A: YES! All of our wedding packages now include the negatives, which are digital and are placed on a DVD Photodisc for personal use. Photodiscs are also available for other portrait sessions.
